This transformative program, inspired by the ancient mystery schools of Egypt’s Pharaohs, combines personal growth, cultural education, financial literacy, and philanthropy to offer a holistic approach to youth development.
A Journey of Self-Discovery and Leadership
The Young Pharaohs of Petersburg program was designed to take participants on a journey of self-discovery, spiritual development, and community engagement. Each young leader is introduced to mindfulness practices that foster mental and emotional resilience—key components of leadership. The students are also encouraged to reflect on their own spiritual growth, with guidance from local spiritual leaders, helping them form a deeper connection to their personal identity and values.
Entrepreneurship & Financial Literacy: Building Wealth for the Community
A cornerstone of the Young Pharaohs initiative is the focus on social entrepreneurship and financial literacy. Participants are tasked with managing a community fund "The Future Is Now, Youth Flow Fund" where they allocate resources to support local causes, including food justice, climate justice, and social justice initiatives. This experience teaches them the principles of giving back, empowering them to make strategic decisions that impact their own neighborhoods. Through this hands-on involvement, they witness how their leadership directly influences the lives of others, reinforcing the importance of civic engagement.
