Pouring out — from grower to practitioner

Many Hands 4 Light Work

Our volunteer engine and community front door — every Saturday at the Oasis Youth Farm, neighbors of every age serve, learn, and build together. Inspired by the Haitian proverb: many hands make for light work.

Every Saturday · 11 AM–2 PM · Petersburg Oasis Youth Farm

Taught through board member Nathaniel X. Graves III, drawing on community work in Haiti, and led by board member Larry Bartenstein. Farm chores, workshops, traveling farm trips to partner farms, and winter mutual-aid drives that keep our community's pantries, fridge, and free libraries full. Log volunteer hours and earn the Light Worker Discount on our programs and products.
